The Fitzgerald Law Firm History and Tradition

The Fitzgerald Family of Lawyers includes John E. Fitzgerald and his wife, Annette Fitzgerald and their sons James and John J. Fitzgerald.

John and Annette started the practice of law in 1971. The original firm law office of John E. Fitzgerald was located at 888 Grand Concourse, Bronx. In 1985 the name was changed to Fitzgerald & Fitzgerald, P.C. and the firm moved to Riverdale/Yonkers.

After verdicts and settlements of well over $1 Billion for Fitzgerald & Fitzgerald clients, John E. Fitzgerald retired in 2013 in order to devote his time to some charitable interests.  James P. Fitzgerald continues the tradition of Fitzgerald & Fitzgerald with the firm, The Fitzgerald Law Firm*.  The Fitzgerald Law Firm consists of over 20 full-time staff and of counsel attorneys experienced in handling cases for victims of medical malpractice as well as lead poisoning, automobile, premises and other general liability cases.

Although John E. Fitzgerald has retired from the active practice of law, he still consults with the Fitzgerald Law Firm on the important law firm management issues. Dr. John J. Fitzgerald, in addition to being admitted to practice law, earned a PhD in Theology and is a professor of Theology who also consults with the Fitzgerald Law Firm.
