Woman Hit and Killed by Truck in Brooklyn Bicycle Accident

According to the authorities, this Brooklyn bicycle accident occurred yesterday morning at just after 11:30 a.m.  An unidentified woman was riding her bicycle near Bradford Avenue and Empire Boulevard in Prospect Lefferts Gardens.  As she neared the intersection, she was hit violently by a truck that was attempting to make a turn, and she was killed instantly as a result of the collision.  The truck driver remained on the scene and police do not suspect criminal activity at this time.
