Livery Cab Driver Arrested in Car Accident that Badly Injures Girl

According to the authorities, this Brooklyn car accident occurred on Wednesday night at approximately 7:30 p.m.  The little girl was riding her scooter as her mother walked along with her near Livonia Avenue and Rockaway Avenue in Brownsville.  At that point, a livery cab collided with an SUV and jumped the curb.  It ran over the little girl and pinned her underneath.  Several Good Samaritans lifted the car off the girl, but she was seriously injured.  At least one other pedestrian was hit and six people altogether were injured and transported to nearby hospitals.
