Four Teens Killed in Terrible Single-Vehicle Long Island Car Accident

When teens obtain their learner’s permits, they are only permitted to drive a vehicle in certain situations.  When they fail to abide by those restrictions, they can face serious legal problems as can their guardians or anyone else who allowed them to drive.  Tragically, police suspect that a teen with a learner’s permit was driving a vehicle this morning when a gruesome single-vehicle Long Island car accident occurred that killed all four of his occupants and left him injured.  Police are still investigating the situation.

According to the authorities, this single-vehicle Long Island car accident occurred this morning at approximately 3:40 a.m.  An unidentified 17-year-old boy was driving a Subaru sedan in a westbound direction on the Southern State Parkway near Exit 17 not far from the town of Malverne.  At that point, he apparently lost control of his vehicle at a curve and slammed into a tree at a high rate of speed and then crashed into additional trees.  The vehicle was torn in half and four teens were killed in the crash.
