Driver in Brooklyn Hit-and-Run Accident Turns Himself In After Crash

According to the authorities, this Brooklyn hit-and-run accident occurred on Sunday morning at approximately 5:15 a.m.  An unidentified 59-year-old woman was sitting in the bus stop terminal on Montrose Avenue near Graham Avenue in Brooklyn.  Suddenly, the driver of a livery cab lost control of his vehicle, jumped the curb and crashed into the bus stop.  The woman was seriously injured and was rushed to a nearby hospital.  The man initially fled the scene but later turned himself in and was arrested on suspicion of leaving the scene of an accident with injuries and reckless driving.
