According to the authorities, this now-fatal Bronx pedestrian accident occurred on Thursday when a livery cab jumped a curb at the intersection of Bainbridge Avenue and East Fordham Road in Fordham.  The cab hit a group of five people on the sidewalk before it crashed through the storefront of the Cee and Cee Department Store.  It was reported that the woman who was critically injured was inside the store, but she was instead on the sidewalk and had her legs pinned under the vehicle.  She initially survived, but died a little more than an hour later at a local hospital.
