According to authorities, this Lincoln Tunnel traffic accident occurred at approximately 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, and what appears to have caused the crash is that a bus in the tunnel had stopped about three-fourths of a mile from the Manhattan side because of traffic.  A motorcycle was behind the bus and in front of another bus, and the trailing bus did not stop in time.  The trailing bus hit the motorcycle and critically injured the driver.  As stated above, the toll for the number of injured has now risen above 60.
