According to the authorities, this fatal Staten Island car accident occurred last Tuesday just after 10:30 a.m. when 42-year-old Kenneth Cascio was driving his motor scooter towards the intersection of Hylan and Burbank Avenue in New Dorp.  As he was doing so, the female driver of a Suzuki minivan attempted to turn left across traffic, and the two vehicles collided.  The man was badly injured and pinned under his vehicle, and he did not survive the injuries he suffered.  The name of the woman driving the minivan was not released.
