According to the authorities, this Queens car accident occurred on Sunday night at 6:30 p.m.  The driver of a Nissan sedan collided with a van on 34th Avenue and 31st Street.  The force of the impact forced the van to roll over on its side, and a 10-year-old girl was ejected as this occurred.  The girl was on the ground when the van rolled over on top of her, and despite the heroic efforts of standers-by to move the van off of her, it was too late.  She was killed at the scene.  Six other people were injured, but none of the injuries were considered serious.
